Pope Francis drew laughter at an audience at the Holy See on Saturday. He refused to read the speech prepared by his staff.
“At this hour, when my stomach is starting to move, reading all this would be torture,” the pope said.
He passed the letters to a nearby aide as the room burst into laughter and applause.
